'Tis The Season To Be Slobby
December 24, 2007
Festive exercise thus far has consisted of lugging a six-kilogram cast iron casserole dish from the shops to our flat. It's one of those things when you think, "Six kilos, I laugh in the face of six kilos!" but after five minutes I thought my biceps would explode. Since then it's all been cooking and eating and sitting about on my arse.
Have a great day folks, whether it's Crimbo or just a plain ol Tuesday. Thanks for tuning in this year and here's to an adventuresome 2008. My gift to you is this ye olde inspirational poster from the Health Education Board of Scotland, spotted at the local hospital.

I'm Shauna Reid, Scotland-dwelling Aussie

MERRY CHIRSTMAS Shauna, may your day be fantastic.

I had to have a giggle at the "what's your secret" comment". Hard work, exercise and eating healthy would be the key wouldn't it Shauna? No secret there.
Merry Xmas to you and the good Dr. xoxo

That's hilarious! So, let's hope the poster is for the healthy visitors and not the patients at the hospital. Because I know the last thing I feel like doing when I'm sick is taking the stairs! :)
Happy holidays, Shauna!

Received your book from Amazon on Christmas Eve. I just couldn't put it down. Finished it at 2am on Christmas Day!
I'm not good with words, so I don't have the right ones but I wanted to say "thanks very much" for writing your book. It was an enlightening read, I learned loads more about you and your journey, probably because I was reading it all in one go, rather than as blog entries once in a while.
However, I was also pleasantly surprised to learn lots about myself as well, as I still have lots to learn about how to be my own superhero.
I really enjoyed it, and it's the sort of book I will enjoy picking up and reading again.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas - I flew out to London on Xmas Day, and it's just not the same as our Aussie summers!
