Peep peep

This week is proving to be a wacky one. But there has been home made baked beans, a beer festival*, a lovely blogger gathering and my brand new British citizenship so aside from wanting to hurl my computer out the window, all is well. I should get back to editing my nose-blowing out of the podcast, so... what's shaking with you? If you were a chocolate bar which one would be? Or similar comment-provoking question to feebly make up for the blogging silence :)
* the beer ran out at 9PM. The organisers had to run to the supermarket for more. For shame!
I'm Shauna Reid, Scotland-dwelling Aussie

If I were a chocolate bar I'd be a Chocolove dark chocolate with raspberries. The raspberries are freeze-dried...very different. If you want one, let me know!

c'mon beer festival, don't let me down - I love a beer festival...
Can money buy happiness ? I firmly rebuff that comment...however just lately I would love a new car - with all the bells and whistles, a big one so the kids can sit way at the far end, well apart from each other. A fast one, so those punks on the road no longer see me just as a (young ;) ) mother of two. A fuel efficient, environmentally friendly, white one... and probably a Lexus :)
Does money make you happy - No way..but its nice to dream...

If I were a chocolate bar I would simply be a Hershey's Dark Chocolate, but one of the mini ones that we give out on Halloween. Good things in a small package!

If I were a chocolate bar, I'd be a Coffee Crisp. I have no good reason, it's just simply my favourite chocolate bar (well, barring the occasional illicit fling with my other love, Bueno, but let's not go there!). Crunchy! Wafer-y! Yum.

Oh Lora I LOVE chocolate with those weirdy raspberries! There's a brand here called Divine that does it... very sophisticated isn't it? Or just plain tasty :)
j - you could save the auto industry with a car like that! separate pens for your children!

OMG in Australia there'd be a riot if the beer ran out so early!
I'd be old gold (dark chocoalte, rum and raisin)
mmmmmmmmm
Now I want baked beans for lunch!

If I could be any chocolate bar, I would totally be the Endangered Species Chimpanzee Bar... because it is the best. dark. chocolate. ever.

I lurve home-made baked beans. I put my favourite recipe for them somewhere on the sana site (don't want to appear to be pimping my site by linking to it). I think the basics are the same except mine had SMOKED paprika and yellow mustard in it and absolutely rocked. Unfortunately I'm currently off tomatoes on account of my nightshade-free diet for arthritis. I miss them.

I'm doing a craptacular job with updates, too. Wish I'd thought to make up some imaginary children to blame it on ...
If I were a chocolate bar, I'd be a Butterfinger. Before Jeff and I got married, I dropped the leftover cake at two of our bridal showers. Because one just wasn't enough. Arrrgh!

Dropping out of lurkdom here, good question. My first thought was a Chunkey..thick, kind of a big bite of chocolate with rasins and nut crunchiness. Then thoughts of Reeses cups come to mine, oohhhh, ummm, yumm...had a reeses cup last week..since then choco free..Gonna have to go see a movie this weekend and do the combined chocolate with popcorn thing.
I live in atlanta, so hopefully these treats are available in Scotland too.

Yeah, I saw that beer ran out on Jason's FB profile, like WTF? Mmm, chocolate. I'd be Peanut M&Ms, multi colour :-)

Only in Scotland would they run out of Beer at an Oktoberfest celebration!
Bet there were more than a few things said!

Congrats on the citizenship! Good grief! on the beer festival. And know exactly how you feel on the work front.
If I were a bar of chocolate I'd be one that had melted down already then solidified into a weird shape afterwards. One of those months...

Oh Wendy... that's a brilliant description. Let's hope November is a goodun!
Sara - I don't mind if you pimp your recipe!!! It sounds tasty. The warning is meant just for the evil spamlords who PRETEND to be a reader then sneak in a link to their crappy product :)

Congrats on getting that final stamp of approval from the UK bureaucracy! :)
If I were a chocolate bar, it would be Prince Polo. I'll leave you to figure that one out.

If I were a chocolate I would be a Freddo :)
Well done on the citizenship and welcome to breezing through immigration. Come visit Amsterdam!

Mmmmm - chocolate - the one thing I can taste during my current cold! I'd like to think I'm a CurlyWurly - tall and slender and .... oh who am I kidding??? lol However, tasty and a little bit healthier ... maybe I could just about pretend to be that! lol

Too bad you don't have a cough switch for the podcast like they have on the radio!
19 · Posted by Danar · October 08, 2009 at 01:40 PM
I want to be a snickers bar. ;)

That is funny about the beer festival. That is an odd happening!
Chocolate bar....
A Willy Wonka bar of course! Who wouldn't want to be wrapped in a golden ticket? ;)

Hmmm...chocolate...
Either a Reese's peanut butter cup, a toblerone, or a york peppermint patty.
Have a fun/crazy week! =)

Double chocolate dipped Cherry Ripe bar - OMG!

Mmm Chocolate!
At the moment I'm in the first week of a six week bootcamp!
Who would have thought!
Hmm, lamingtons....

I'd be a Topic Bar...and, since they are not found in the States, I'd be *forced* to move to the UK. I'd make the sacrifice.

M&M's (my addiction)
Small yet colorful you pop a couple into your mouth and you taste the melty creamy chocolate. They don't provoke the guilt that comes along with a candy bar.
Any milk chocolate will do for me. I rediscovered how tasty Tootsie Rolls are this Halloween.
