WIN! £45 sports bra voucher from Less Bounce - DG 11th Birthday Sell Out Day 4
January 19, 2012
The prize:
One lucky winner will receive a £45 gift voucher to spend at Less Bounce, including free worldwide shipping.
Available to readers from: Worldwide
What the heck is it?
Less Bounce is an online sportswear retailer. It's where I purchased my first Enell scaffolding in 2004. I rocked up to my next Body Combat class and nearly wept for joy. Jumping kicks are much easier when you're not clutching your chest protectively!
Why I dig it
After those dark years of inadequate support, I'm evangelical about the joys of a good sports bra. I've yelled "GET A SPORTS BRA" at unrestrained chests on the telly so many times that Gareth now pre-empts, "Don't tell me. She should get a sports bra."
So, LessBounce is a UK company started by fitness instructor and personal trainer Selaine Saxby when she couldn't find a good sports bra locally. They stock a huge range of sports bras suitable for all sports for chests of all shapes and sizes. They've got good brands like Freya, Berlei, Champion, Triumph and Panache. As well as sports bras they stock swimwear, maternity bras, and sportswear! They have great customer service, a handy bra finder on the homepage and they ship worldwide.
I asked Selaine if she'd be up for donating a prize for a third year running and she was kind enough to do so. They really do cater to a wide range of sizes, so if you have boobs this one's for you!
There is one £45 Less Bounce voucher (including free worldwide shipping) to be won. Simply leave a comment on this blog entry to enter. If you're reading this post via an RSS feed, Facebook or Goodreads, you need to click through to the Dietgirl blog. Entries close Tuesday 31 January 2012 at 9PM GMT. Winners will be drawn at random. Excellent timing. I'm in the market for a new sorts bra :)
23 · Posted by Kirsty · January 19, 2012 at 05:38 PM
This! This! I was just jumping around my sitting room pretending to box to bad rap (the only work out I could face) and realised, embarrassed, that the neighbour was wwatching from their balcony. A superstrength bra would make me MUCH more decorous in these situations!
24 · Posted by frances · January 19, 2012 at 05:40 PM
Haha, isn't this the one that everyone wants? :D Happy 11th birthday, DG! I'd love to win this one, of course. I've slimmed down a little too much for my Enell, and I need a new one! Please and thank you~ :DDDD

Count me in! I think the retailers in my area must assume that large-boobed women don't exercise, because I've had a heck of a time finding something that fits.
29 · Posted by Lauren · January 19, 2012 at 06:02 PM
Perfect timing, I just noticed my trusty Shock Absorber had sprouted curly bits of elastic. Definitely time for a new one!

32 · Posted by Ana · January 19, 2012 at 06:17 PM
So I'm not alone in my mission to preach the Sports Bra gospel?
Here's a tip: If you are a C cup or above, any bra you can pull over your head is not going to work for anything more strenuous than yoga (if that).
33 · Posted by Jen · January 19, 2012 at 06:29 PM
Love sports bras! Don't own enough! ha. I recently went on a trip for business and left mine at home, and verified that no, I cannot walk into any run of the mill store and find a sports bra that will work for me. Sigh.
34 · Posted by TJ · January 19, 2012 at 06:32 PM

My sports bras are in DEFINITE need of replacing. Within 10 minutes of any workout I have underwire stabbing me in the throat as it breaks free of its enclosure and rises up in an attempt to murder me. It's annoying, but not yet as annoying as bra shopping.
59 · Posted by Amy · January 19, 2012 at 09:23 PM
I have wee bewbies but my mate Tracy has some large ones that need to be strapped down while we are running :). (I'm not really British, can you tell?)I will donate to her!

89 · Posted by Erica · January 20, 2012 at 02:25 AM
Why have I never invested in something like this. Lord knows, I've been needing it FOR YEARS.
90 · Posted by ladyloo · January 20, 2012 at 02:35 AM
Oh yes, I have boobs. In many situations it is a source of pride, but in exercise-related matters it becomes a liability. I've never understood why mainstream sportswear companies seem to enjoy punishing those of us who are well-endowed by not making supportive garments in our size! I'd love the chance to get a good "support garment" to aid me in my active lifestyle! Thanks Shauna and keep up the great, inspirational work! :)
91 · Posted by Brenna · January 20, 2012 at 02:41 AM
