WIN! £45 sports bra voucher from Less Bounce – DG 11th Birthday Sell Out Day 4

Dietgirl 11th Birthday Sell Out!The prize:
One lucky winner will receive a £45 gift voucher to spend at Less Bounce, including free worldwide shipping.

Available to readers from: Worldwide

What the heck is it?
Less Bounce is an online sportswear retailer. It's where I purchased my first Enell scaffolding in 2004. I rocked up to my next Body Combat class and nearly wept for joy. Jumping kicks are much easier when you're not clutching your chest protectively!

Why I dig it
After those dark years of inadequate support, I'm evangelical about the joys of a good sports bra. I've yelled "GET A SPORTS BRA" at unrestrained chests on the telly so many times that Gareth now pre-empts, "Don't tell me. She should get a sports bra."

So, LessBounce is a UK company started by fitness instructor and personal trainer Selaine Saxby when she couldn't find a good sports bra locally. They stock a huge range of sports bras suitable for all sports for chests of all shapes and sizes. They've got good brands like Freya, Berlei, Champion, Triumph and Panache. As well as sports bras they stock swimwear, maternity bras, and sportswear! They have great customer service, a handy bra finder on the homepage and they ship worldwide.

I asked Selaine if she'd be up for donating a prize for a third year running and she was kind enough to do so. They really do cater to a wide range of sizes, so if you have boobs this one's for you!

There is one £45 Less Bounce voucher (including free worldwide shipping) to be won. Simply leave a comment on this blog entry to enter. If you're reading this post via an RSS feed, Facebook or Goodreads, you need to click through to the Dietgirl blog. Entries close Tuesday 31 January 2012 at 9PM GMT. Winners will be drawn at random. 1. A sports bra that ACTUALLY holds the beasts down!?! I wanna try! My current remedie is two bras…not ideal but it’s all that works. lol

  2. I am desparate for a new sports bra but just csnt find one I like,I wear two bras, neither of which provide enough support, I’d love a new one! 🙂

  3. I would LOVE this! Haven’t been able to find a good alternative with the cheap ones I can afford.

  4. Trying to get back into running after a year’s break and could really do with a new sports bra! Happy 11th Birthday DG!! x

  5. Yup, another person in the 2-bra club… usually when I find one that actually works for me I get about three of ’em. Hurrah for winnables!

  6. This! This! I was just jumping around my sitting room pretending to box to bad rap (the only work out I could face) and realised, embarrassed, that the neighbour was wwatching from their balcony. A superstrength bra would make me MUCH more decorous in these situations!

  7. Haha, isn’t this the one that everyone wants? 😀 Happy 11th birthday, DG! I’d love to win this one, of course. I’ve slimmed down a little too much for my Enell, and I need a new one! Please and thank you~ :DDDD

  8. Count me in! I think the retailers in my area must assume that large-boobed women don’t exercise, because I’ve had a heck of a time finding something that fits.

  9. Perfect timing, I just noticed my trusty Shock Absorber had sprouted curly bits of elastic. Definitely time for a new one!

  10. So I’m not alone in my mission to preach the Sports Bra gospel?

Here’s a tip: If you are a C cup or above, any bra you can pull over your head is not going to work for anything more strenuous than yoga (if that).

  11. Love sports bras! Don’t own enough! ha. I recently went on a trip for business and left mine at home, and verified that no, I cannot walk into any run of the mill store and find a sports bra that will work for me. Sigh.

  12. You have the best prizes!
I’ve lost enough weight that I need a new sports bra for the Spring – good timing!

  13. My little girls would very much like a new sports bra! Thank you kindly for arranging this cool prize 😉

  14. Hmmm, I have a half marathon in my future, and would LOVE it if my chest sagged less than my spirits at mile, say, 9. Maybe neither will sag?!

  15. 3rd attempt at this comment… stupid phone!
In short: got pregnant, gained 2 stone (already needed to lose)
My fab and much loved Enell bra no longer fits. Only getting back to exercise 13 month post baby due to PND. My girlies need support more than ever now. Please help.

  16. I got my last sports bra in PRIMARK. Need I say more…….*wbispers* just to clarify, that means it’s highly ineffective! 🙂

  17. That’s me! I have boobs! (In fact, to be honest, I think I have my boobs and those belonging to a couple of other women to boot!)

  18. My sports bras are in DEFINITE need of replacing. Within 10 minutes of any workout I have underwire stabbing me in the throat as it breaks free of its enclosure and rises up in an attempt to murder me. It’s annoying, but not yet as annoying as bra shopping.

  19. I have wee bewbies but my mate Tracy has some large ones that need to be strapped down while we are running :). (I’m not really British, can you tell?)I will donate to her!

  20. I love my enell bra so much – and I actually got mine after seeing your recommendation! So I’d love to win this and get another one!

  21. Oh, me, please – I love Champion undergarments. I’ve already got one Champion bra that basically requires me to dislocate a shoulder to get it on – but the sucker WORKS. Ain’t nobody goin’ nowhere once I have that thing on. I need another! 🙂

  22. Oh wow. Fingers crossed I win this, because after having a look at the website, I might be about to spend an awful lot of money!

  23. There is nothing, nothing, nothing better than a good sports bra…and mine is sadly wearing out. What an awesome giveaway!

  24. Oh yes, I have boobs. In many situations it is a source of pride, but in exercise-related matters it becomes a liability. I’ve never understood why mainstream sportswear companies seem to enjoy punishing those of us who are well-endowed by not making supportive garments in our size! I’d love the chance to get a good “support garment” to aid me in my active lifestyle! Thanks Shauna and keep up the great, inspirational work! 🙂

  25. Would you believe that I’ve never owned a sports bra? Now seems like a good time to try to win one!

  26. I have forgotten what adequate support for the girls feels like…. I havent had a new bra in over 3 years!!

  27. Oooo, could use one of those Enells! My sports bras are almost shot. Happiest birthday, Shauna, and thanks for doing the Birthday Sell Out! 🙂

  28. One can never do with too many well-fitted sports bras! I’ve been reading for you years now and you’re a great inspiration. Love your sense of humour, Shauna!

  29. Buying a new sports bra is on my to-do-list – for over a year now. I want to do my ballet jumps without having to look at the wobbling mass every time. Count me in.

  30. Less boobage bounce would be awesome – especially since my last two not-that-great sports bras went to bra heaven (aka the bin… they were worn out!).

  31. I think my manky sports bra’s nearly 10 years old, so I’ll probably be checking out the website whether I win or not – but I hope I do!

  32. Oh, my – sign me UP! I have one sports bra. ONE. It is an awesome one, though – Max Shock Absorber, if anyone’s looking for a supersupportive bra for G+ cups.

  33. I mentally yell at SO many people in the gym “get a sports bra!!” that I’m amazed I haven’t accidentally shouted it out loud. 🙂

  34. Feel a bit guilty as have lurked for a long time and am only posting to try and win a much needed item!

Do LOVE the blog though Shauna!

  35. Urm not sure a sports bra is a good idea for me (that would mean doing sport!) but a good well fitting bit of scaffolding for the girls would be nice *grin*

  36. Want…need…have you seen those miserable excuses for sports bras that the mail-order companies sell? Just because I’m plus-size doesn’t mean I don’t want to do higher impact exercise!

  37. Hello DG loooong time lurker here, coaxed out of hiding by the incentive of a new sports bra. I’m back on the wagon trying to shift the same *&^@#ing few stone and to get fit enough to take 5k in my stride again (do I ever learn – apparently not). Like others on here I am back on the 2 bra solution (one underwire a bit too big, one old sports bra a bit too tight). This makes my soul weep becuase I truly beleive that a good support garment is the first principle of feminism. Seriously where’s the equality if you can’t run for the bus for fear the girls will break loose and wreak havock.

  38. You thought the pandas are safe in the zoo? No, it’s my black eyes after a jog with my current cheaply sports bra. In face, I was bouncing so much on Sunday that I tripped over tree root and did my ankle ligaments in so I could do with cheering up!!

  39. I could certainly use a sports bra. The girls are starting to sag – so any help they can get would be appreciated!

  40. How many million more comments than normal are there on the giveaway posts?! Tee hee.
I have one amazing enell, but it’s always in the damn wash, so I’ll throw my hat in the ring in the hopes of getting a second for rotation, which would be very handy 🙂

  41. Ooooh! Oooh! Pick me!! In all seriousness – I’m training for my first half-marathon (terrifying!) and it’s bizarre finding myself doing something that 3 years ago me would never have dreamed off. Boobies not bouncing around? A bonus! :o)

  42. Could do with a decent sports bra for the twins. Am also hugely tempted because of that lovely Australian exchange rate…

  43. Would love a new sports bra! Exercising for the 5k run in Hamburg in June, so a new one would be perfect right now:) Happy Birthday DG:)

  44. And here is why I will win this.
    1. My birthday is Monday.
    2. I just told my kids that I had to put on a sports bra to play ping pong with them
    3. I am turning 47 and the girls need support
    4. My 14 year old beat me playing ping pong with his LEFT hand while I wore a sports bra. Clearly I need a better sports bra if I am going to lose like THAT!

  45. Oh,I could really use this! On the same trail myself, so I’ll look forward to following my blog

  46. Your Blog! Lol! Coffee time! Hope this does not do that wonderous thing of most sprts bras and give the wearer uni-boob! 🙂

  47. Oh man, that would change things so much! I think my ladies are contributing to some unfortunate back problems that have been plaguing me for the last while! Curse this ample bosom!

  48. I am looking at the site now, so much choice! M&S have let me down and the sports bra I just bought keeps unzipping – it can’t contain me never mind support me! Any suggestions for the bra most likely to really restrain a 40 D/DD chest?!

  49. Hi Shauna, I’m a right big girl and would really appreciate a good sports bra to keep my unruly knockers in order. Please pick me!

  50. Oh yes. That elusive treasure: the well-fitting sports bra. Any help on the search has got to be a great thing 🙂

  51. Winning this would be great. I’ve got two good sports bras but I’m finding they’re not fitting me well any more.

  52. Woohoo, after reading about your birthday sell outs I get to participate in one! My current sports bra seems to fit less and less after losing 35lbs since I’ve bought it.

  53. Hi, I just found your pages couple days ago, linked from a Finnish blog. I can’t help but entering, I feel like people assume that plus- size girls don’t exercise as it’s next to impossible to find really fitting and supporting sport bra. Great blog so far!!

  54. Once upon a time
    I wrote only in Haiku
    Every Friday…

    It was pretty fun
In fact, why did I stop it?
    Must be getting old.

  55. Love your blog. A new sports bra would be awesome, have just taken up running which is some feat with my chest!

  56. I discovered the DietGirl blog half way through last year and read all 9.5 years’ worth in a couple of weeks!

Shauna, I love the way that you are so realistic about everything, it’s really inspiring and helped me focus on my own weight-loss in a sensible way!

I am in desperate need of a new sports-bra so please enter me in this giveaway draw! My current one is straining at the seams (and hideously ugly to boot!)

  57. I could use a new bra. My poor girls have deflated since the weight loss and hang somewhere around my waist now–it is not a pretty sight!

  58. I NEED this in my life. I was ‘blessed’ with out of control, massive boobies that need industrial support when I so much as walk fast. Serious. The sports bra is a fine, fine invention. 😀 If I win this, I will love you forever.

  59. Pick me, PICK ME!!

Happy 11th Birthday. It’s hard to believe I’ve been thinking about the size of your arse (and my own) for 9 years now….

  60. I hate my present bra, and I would so love a new one, so I`m givin` it a shot!

  61. I’d love to be entered to win this bra! I have a dog show coming up, don’t want to knock myself out with my giantess features if you catch my drift…!

  62. Well…….. I am sure this is great – but my problem has always been eating too fast…. I can get enough as my brain does not even realize it started eating even though I’m already done…. If I could eat slower…. I’d probably eat much less 🙁

  63. Ooh, sports bras! They are something I couldn’t live without lol. I’d love to enter please, would be great to be able to treat myself to a new one, thanks!

  64. I still can’t believe it when I see women WITHOUT a sports bra!! C’mon girls look after your boobs 🙂

  65. Knock, knock, knockers on Enell’s door, move over Guns N Roses Less Bounce is in the house!

  66. I would absolutely love to win this! I have a great sports bra, but I am sick of washing it all the time!
